The office was going to have a party. It was not your usual office party, because this party was a big event as the company will be turning twenty years.
Being part of the party committee, it was a big debate on what the party was going to be. Should it be a themed party? Should we just make it a formal affair? After all, a company does not turn twenty every day.
So the committee decided to make sure this is a party worth remembering, it would be a costume party. Not your usual Halloween costume party, but something that would entice and tempt people to wear their best costumes and bring out their best outfits. They had to be a character, no ghoulish costumes.
Being in the committee had its disadvantages, because you thought of this themed party, you had to make sure your costume would be something that was a statement maker.
So I searched the internet and kept changing my decision.
Finally, when I saw Tony Bowls’ collection…it just hit me. I know I would be Scarlett O’Hara. The gowns that were in the collection just simply bowled me over. Grand costumes, great, elegant gowns, there were just so many gowns and long dresses to choose from.
So when I finally saw the Tony Bowls’ evening dress with full skirt, I knew all I needed was a petticoat underneath, and I was the best Scarlett O’Hara there would be.
Needless to say, it was a blast of a party, and I won the best costume of the night award.
