Author: The first thing that you need to do is to determine what kind of style you want to have for your bangs. If you do not have any idea, you can browse through some fashion magazines or you can ask your friends what kind of style would look best on you. You should take into consideration the shape of your face.
Once you have found the style that you want, cut it out and tape it on your mirror where you are planning to cut your bangs. You should also prepare everything that you will need such as a pair of hair scissors, a razor with single blade, and a comb.
Use a comb to part your bangs into two. The teeth of the comb should be facing outwards while you are combing your bangs downwards to know where your newly-cut bangs will fall. Some people cut their bangs in a straight line but actually, the correct way on how to cut bangs is to cut it diagonally. Cutting in a straight line usually results in uneven or jagged bangs.
